So, what’s
the problem?
The global coffee industry generates billions annually, yet millions of farmers barely survive. They receive a fraction of the retail price, often below a living wage, while facing exploitation and environmental degradation.
Coffee production contributes to deforestation and climate change, threatening both livelihoods and the future of coffee itself. Lack of transparency in the supply chain fuels this cycle of injustice, resulting in “bad coffee” – produced at the expense of people and the planet.

A Better Way Forward
At Stean’s Beans, our mission is to build a better world. By caring for the people and places that make coffee possible, we’re creating a future where every cup tells a story of fairness, sustainability, and exceptional quality.
